THE CONTEXT
When a single word costs a manoeuver
You're on the bridge. Radio in hand. On the other end: a pilot in Singapore, an agent in Jebel Ali, or a Filipino captain need an answer.
Not on Monday. Not after coffee. Now.
Maritime English isn't classroom English. It's an operational code where a mispronounced word can delay a discharge, cost thousands of dollars in demurrage or compromise a maneuver. And ashore, a badly worded clause in a charter party or a late Notice of Readiness can cost more than any storm.
Our two-level programme trains your teams to operate and negotiate in English, from the quay to the charter party.
Two courses, one route
Start with operations and logistics, then move on to the commercial and legal side of shipping. Each course runs for three months and can be taken on its own.
